Between the years 1981 – 1991, Tony worked as a carpenter learning his trade on various sites throughout the South of England where he worked with Jimmy Earley and Tony Trihy. In 1991, Tony joined NCS Construction (Tarmac Labour Division) as a Carpenter/Foreman involved on projects such as the A3 Petersfield Bypass and A1M Northampton.
Between the years 1992 – 1994, Tony worked for Oliver & Mudie as a Site Supervisor working on projects such as The Devere Hotel Infrastructure, Winchester Cathedral Visitors Centre, Bradfield College and Poole Hospital extension.
During the year 1994, Tony returned to NCS Construction (Tarmac Labour Division) as a Structures Supervisor involved in projects such as M3 Bar End to Compton, Canary Wharf – Jubilee line 108 Heathrow Express, M40 road-widening project.
During 1998 – 1999: Tony worked as a Site Manager for Associated Asphalt, including the day-to-day running of a busy construction site to incorporate very large in situ concrete slabs.
In September 1999 Tony formed T T Formwork Ltd with Tony Trihy, which involved all aspects of managing a medium sized construction company until it ceased trading at the end of October 2003.
