We take health and safety very seriously and continually strive to minimise health and safety issues on each of our projects.
All operatives engaged by H J Construction are expected to hold a valid CSCS card and demonstrate their ability to perform tasks in a competent and safe manner. Anyone unable to fulfil this criterion is not engaged by this company. All operatives are given a copy of our health and safety policy and toolbox talks are carried out on a regular basis by our site supervisor. Additional toolbox talks are given on matters that are particularly relevant to the contract being undertaken at the time. Method statements and risk assessments are drawn up for every task within the project.
